From fashion to jewelry and beauty, Dubai will give you all of that over the next few months. Among the main events that deserve special attention and mention are exhibitions like The Bridal Affair, BRIDE Dubai, Beauty World Middle East and Dubai International Jewelry Week Exhibition.
The Bridal Affair – March 23
The Bridal Affair is one of the most popular bridal shows in Dubai. This year it will be held on March 23 at the Godolphin Ballroom in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. It expected that about 100 different wedding professionals will present their suggestions and ideas at the event. Among them will be some of the best photographers, florists, cake decorators, wedding planners, makeup artists and many more. A special attention at the expo will receive bridal fashion designers who will reveal their clothing, jewelry and accessory collections to the show’s visitors. In addition, brides-to-be will have a chance to get a one-on-one planning and consulting session with a professional in the field. Also, The Bridal Affair is famous for the fact that it focused both on modern and traditional designs and looks.
BRIDE Dubai – April 10 – 13
This is said to be the biggest bridal show in the Middle East. It will be take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre between April 10 and 13. More than 350 professionals and companies will participate in the exhibition and about 150,000 people will attend the event. Although the event itself is quite luxurious, the products showcased at BRIDE Dubai will suit any taste, need and budget. The expo gives brides and families a perfect chance to prepare for a wedding since there they will meet some of the best wedding professionals in the world. The exhibition will also include interesting features like Fashion Avenue, runway shows, Jewellery Pavilion and a VIP Lounge.
Beauty World Middle East – May 28 – 30
This event does not focus entirely on weddings and brides. However, there brides-to-be can find some of the best beauty, wellbeing and hair products, as well as a big variety of fragrances. Beauty World Middle East is actually the largest international beauty trade fair. In 2012, it welcomed more than 22,000 people from over 120 different countries. Unfortunately, only trade visitors can visit the exhibition. That means that you should be a dealer, distributer, buyer, retailer, importer, exporter, consultant, hotel and spa developer, cosmetologist or a media professional. However, if you are under any of these categories you are welcome to stop by the show after you register on the website of the fair or on-site at least two days prior the event.
Dubai International Jewellery Week Exhibition – December 4 – 7
This exhibition will be held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center (DIDEC) towards the end of 2013. Again, this is not an all-wedding event, but it includes some great bridal and wedding jewelry products and accessories. There, visitors will see exhibitions by some of the most prestigious jewelry and watch brands which will show off their latest collections. Last year’s event featured more than 200 exhibitors from 20 countries among which were Thailand, Italy, Turkey, India, Singapore and many others. In 2013, their number will be twice as much.
