Women leaders, ministers, academics and entrepreneurs are gathering today in Dubai for the 16th Global Women Leaders Conference (Woibex) at Ritz Calrton Hotel. One of the events will be the release of the Top 100 GCC Women Leaders of Tomorrow list by the organizers from Datamatix as a celebration of the 103 years of International Women’s Day.
The 2-day Conference opened at 8 a.m. in the morning today, March 6 with a presentation by the United Nations Resident Coordinator in UAE, Qatar and Oman, Mr. Paolo Lembo. During the seminars, speakers will give presentations on various issues related to the place of modern women in business, governing and industry. The annual Global Women Leaders Conference aims at connecting and inspiring women executives, business managers, professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders from the region and the world. Main agenda of the event remains supporting and strengthening women empowerment by bringing ideas and resources for local and international initiatives. It is giving modern women the opportunity to share experience and innovations for the future development and prosperity of organizations and communities worldwide.
