Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President, Honorary Chairman and Lifetime Patron of The Make-A-Wish Foundation United Arab Emirates, officially inaugurated Bride Dubai by cutting the ribbon and touring the show at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

This four day show is the biggest and most prestigious bridal event in the region, with over 300 of the top wedding industry exhibitors showcasing everything a bride could dream of when planning for her special day.
Paying attention to all the special details, Bride Dubai is on hand to ignite inspiration among the hearts of brides-to-be with a dazzling range of dresses, shoes, accessories, music, wedding favours, invitations, photography, cakes, honeymoon destinations and packages, electronics, jewellery and much more!
The show’s exclusive highlights include headline sponsor LG, who are offering newly-weds a helping hand to set up their new homes with a selection of signature home appliances and entertainment products, as well as photography and film specialists Digitally, who have crafted the art of capturing magic wedding moments with over five decades of high profile experience.
Additional high-profile sponsors include, silver sponsor the unique Abaya and evening wear designer Mauzan; Art Clothing, Sana’a Kayum’s stunning contemporary clothing collection; dnata, one of the world’s largest air travel service providers; and Apparel Group featuring brands including Dune, Nine West and Inglot.
The first day of the show also marked the launch of the exclusive Haute Couture Fashion Shows, with the phenomenal haute couture wedding designer Lamia Abinader opening the runway and wowing the visitors with her show-stopping collection. The Saudi fashion designer, Qassem Al Qassem also showcased the latest designs from his popular designer range, Shalky.
Guest attending the show tomorrow (Thursday 11th April) can look forward to the reappearance of one of the UAE’s favourite bridal designers, Khaled Khalil. The Palestinian designer is making his much-anticipated return to Dubai for the first time since 2006 and will be showcasing his outstanding collection of custom-made wedding gowns.
“Now in our 16th year of Bride Dubai, we are delighted to see the show grow bigger and better than ever this year to ensure we offer brides-to-be and their families a bridal experience like no other,” said Daphne Cota the Show Director for Bride.
“It is fantastic to see so many visitors from across the region and neighboring countries visit the first day of Bride Dubai and we look forward to welcoming many more guests over the next few days. The excitement of the show never stops with even more stylish designers and their collections hitting the runway on top of our dazzling jewellery pavilion, fashion avenue and not forgetting our exclusive VIP Lounge,” added Cota.
In addition to the outstanding fashion shows, guests can also enjoy a beautiful collection of jewels and diamonds on display at the new Jewellery Pavilion, an array of beautiful and bright designer collections in the Turkish Pavilion and exceptional creations including Italian and Moroccan designs in Fashion Avenue, as well as the exclusive VIP Lounge for the next three days until Saturday 13th April.
Bride Dubai will be open from 2.30pm – 10.30pm and will open at 3.00pm on Friday.
