Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) has organized recently the first Student Forum in association with the Student Representative Council (SRC) at the College. The forum took place on campus on duration of two days; ECAE’s students and their relatives were among the participants.
Its worth mentioning that the forum included number of sessions that focused on developing the participants skills in leadership, time management and planning for their practical lives. Through these sessions, participants had the opportunity to engage in several activities on how to develop skills on problem-solving in their study path and career path. Moreover, they had the chance to gain tactics on time management with high efficienc. Also the courses promoted major key concepts that are essential to reach excellence in the study and career fields.
The Head of Student Affairs and Development at ECAE, Mrs. Samira Al Nuaimi presented the first session titled “ Keys of Success” in which she negotiated tips and ways on how to create a distinguished person in both study and career fields. She identified several ways through a discussion of self-development skills including delegation, teamwork, time management and goals setting.
Consultant, Ali Ghanem Al Taweel, presented the second session highlighting the importance of Leadership in which he discussed the need of leading skills and one team spirit in order to reach better outcomes.
Dr. Zakaria Mohammed, a member from General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, has concluded the Forum with a spiritual talk by a session covering the most important pillar in Islam, which is prayer performance. Dr. Zakaria reminded and helped students understand the prayer in terms of spiritual responsibility and the enormous reward from performing this duty.
