The popular show, which is the biggest of its kind in the region, takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Wednesday 24th until Friday 26th April.

Visitors will be able to see for themselves the latest advances in photography and digital imaging, as well as displays of work by award winning photographers from across the region. There is also a real focus on business at the event, with studios and photo-labs catered for international companies showcasing the latest professional supplies, from paper to photo-shoot props.

“For anyone looking to make a career in photography or build their business in this growing sector, the exhibition is a great place to start,” says event organiser Justin Boutros, CEO of Channels Exhibitions which hosts the show.

The exhibition attracts a keen audience and includes a free programme of seminars which is always popular.

“This year there will be a special focus on travel photography and nature photography as well as the effects of light,” confirms Mr. Boutros.

“PhotoWorld-Dubai this year will feature a really exciting mix of innovative suppliers and leading names from around the world,” he adds.

Visiting the show is free and visitors can register at the door, but places at the workshops are limited so those hoping to attend are advised to arrive in good time.

Admission on Wednesday and Thursday is for over-16s only, with children over 10 admitted on Friday when accompanied by an adult.
