The Group will be opening four new hotels over the next 3 years; three Hotels on Habtoor Island (WESTIN, W Hotel and St. Regis) as well as the Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah. The new hotels will offer significant employment opportunities. The Group is making a concerted effort, under the leadership of its Chairman, to recruit Emirati’s in staggered plan over the next five years.

Henning Fries, Group Director of Operations, said, “The Al Habtoor Group has built over the past 30-plus years a successful hospitality operation and has been a pioneer of the industry in Dubai. Strong values and determination to succeed are some of the key themes which have led to the success – and anyone joining this organization will benefit from working in such a dynamic environment.”
Fries added, “Dubai has long recognised that a main pillar of its success lies in maintaining a successful tourism industry. ‘Hospitality’ as it is on offer in any location is a reflection of local customs and unique approach toward taking care of one’s guests. The UAE in general and Dubai in particular has to offer a rich experience to any traveler and who best to exhibit this than local nationals.”

The careers fair, only open to Emirati citizens, will explain the demands of the jobs available and the hiring policies and procedures.
