Abu Dhabi University inspiringthe UAE’s creative talents to unleash their imaginations in its 10th Anniversary Logo Contest
AED10,000 Grand Prize and a place in history up for grabs as countdown begins towards 31st August deadline
Solidifying its reputation for championing fresh thinking and creativity, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is welcoming submissions for ‘10th Anniversary’ logo designs as it celebrates a decade as a beacon of academic excellence. The winner will be crowned with a AED10,000 Grand Prize and the prestige of having his or her masterpiece showcased around the world on official ADU communications.
The contest is open to individuals or establishments located in the UAE, and are set to spark a flurry of creative fireworks as artists and the artistically-inclined rush to perfect their original logo designs before 31st August.
Illustrating the bigger picture of the contest’s significance, Dr Nabil Ibrahim, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University said: “This is so much more than just a logo: it is a badge of honor, an insignia that crystallizes 10 years into one symbol.It brings to life the remarkable milestones behind ADU and the groundbreaking successes ahead of us.”
To enter this high-profile contest, participants simply visit ADU’s Facebook page and sign up on the application under ‘ADU Competition’. ADU is allowing participants to double their chances of winning by submitting two designs each.
Dr Ibrahim added: “The winner can expect to get international exposure, since ADU’s communications are viewed worldwide and have helped us attract over 60 nationalities to our pulsating, life-loving student community. The logo will also be seen across our extensive global partnerships, and we are spreading our wings even further through our imminent international accreditation and ourplace of honor within the elite of the world’s finest 550 institutions. But ultimately every ADU graduate is like a living logo, because they represent us in the job market and bolster our reputation,leading to our students being increasingly in demand and the overwhelming majority gaining employment within a year.”
