Right after the PlayStation 4 was released, the company announced that it will release a number of great games for the device.
Gamers were first thrilled to learn that the game Uncharted will return on the new PlayStation. It was developed by Naughty Dog, which is also behind the hit title The Last of Us. According to Sony, the game will be exclusively released for PS4 in 2014. However, it does not specify the month. Also, the trailer of the game does not really show any scenes from it. Therefore, gamers should not expect an early-2014 launch of Uncharted for PS4.
That is not the case with Infamous: Second Son. Sony finally announced the exact release date for the title. The game will hit the stores in the first quarter of 2014, on March 21st.
Another great news is that Destiny Beta will be first released for PS4 and PS3 consoles. Again, that will happen sometime in 2014. Nevertheless, it is expected this to happen in the early months of the year. However, not everyone will be able to enjoy the game so early. Those, who want to be among the first to play the upcoming shooter need to pre-order it and to get a beta code from the game’s developer Bungie.
An new indie title will also be introduced on Sony’s new PlayStation in 2014. Its name is TowerFall Ascension and, according to its developers, it is a multiplayer combat game that relies mainly on archery. In addition, it is said to include strategy and fast-paced gameplay. The new edition of TowerFall will be offer some new content to gamers. For instance, it will have 4 more archers, 50 new versus levels, 6 more power-ups, as well as a 12-player cooperative Quest mode. The game is still in development, but it is scheduled for a release in early 2014.
