The 2014 Dubai international boat show started Tuesday, with 430 boats worth about US$500-M the attendance is estimated to be more than 26,000 visitors. About 750 companies from 50 countries are exhibiting at the show, bringing everything from yachts to motor boats, from diving equipment to life vests.
Participants said the event has became one of world’s top platforms for the yacht and civil maritime industry. This year nearly 70% of all exhibitors are international firms. A highlight at the show are 30 luxury boats, including 19 spectacular super yachts.
