Offering exclusive discounts, free shipping and various other benefits, a dedicated program called Amazon Mom allow moms and dads to get everything from diapers to baby food for less and at their doorstep.

One of the latest membership programs, offered by online retailer Amazon, is called Amazon Mom and focuses on providing everything you need for your baby and family. Customers – all parents, grandparents, and caretakers alike, can subscribe and receive a 30-day free trial, combined with a Prime membership. For one month, you can benefit from all Prime features, including free-two day delivery on millions of items and unlimited streaming of music, movies and TV shows. In addition, Prime members can borrow books for free from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library. But Amazon Mom also comes with several exclusive features.

Moms and dads who sign up for the program receive 20% discount on diapers with a special Subscribe & Save option. Basically, on a particular date each month, you will receive diapers order for 20% less. The other feature is great for moms-to-be – it gives a 15% discount on the baby registry completion. And of course, there are additional daily and weekly deals and sales, available only to Amazon Mom members, which are mostly saved for baby and child care products, items from the health and personal care shopping categories, and others.

After the free 30-day trial, customers can either cancel their subscription, or keep their account and pay the annual fee of $99. In fact, Amazon Mom is simply a free option for Prime members, so you are paying for Prime and able to get advantage of all of its benefits. However, if you have an existing Prime account, you only need to sign up for Amazon Mom and you will get it for free.

The program is a very good solution for busy parents who want to do all their baby/kids shopping in one place. It easier, faster and all your orders will be delivered at your doorstep in one or two days. But the retailer has limited the service – each family, or household, can have only one Amazon Mom account.
