The sequence of Frozen will be entitled Frozen Fever and it will arrive in theatres in the spring of 2015. The story in it will revolve around Anne’s birthday. Elsa and Kristoff will do their best to surprise her with the best present for her special day. However, Elsa’s icy powers will make this task more challenging that it should be, since the princess still has some difficulties mastering them. Of course, Olaf will also be there to cheer us up.

Frozen 2 will again be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and produced by Peter Del Vecho. Also, it will feature a brand new song. Since it will be composed by the same duo that was behind the Academy Award winner “Let It Go,” you can be certain that it will not disappoint.

However, Frozen Fever will not be a full movie. Instead, what Disney will release next year will be a short film. Why is that? Well, mainly because a complete Frozen movie production will take longer time to create. After all, the first film was released less than a year ago. A short animated movie, however, will successfully keep the brand alive and fill in the gap between the two full Frozen films.

Frozen is not simply Disney’s most successful animated movie, it is also the most successful animation of all time. It made over $1.27 billion worldwide only from theatre ticket sales. If we include the profits earned via the Frozen franchise, this amount multiplies. Let’s not forget the fact that the film won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song with “Let It Go.”

All of this hysteria around the 2013 animated production promises to turn Frozen-themed toys and kids’ clothing into best sellers this holiday season. The 2015 sequence will probably keep the flame alive. Therefore, if you spot a good Frozen deal this Black Friday, stock up for next Christmas as well.
