The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, announced it will be offering a discount code to travelers from the US. It will be available only for a limited time and is introduced to mark Black Friday. This is, indeed, the most unusual Black Friday sale we’ve seen.
Based in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE, Etihad Airways is one of the largest Middle Eastern carriers. It flies to almost every corner of the world, to more than 100 destinations. As most carriers, it regularly offers discounted airfares and various promotions, but unlike the rest of the airlines, it now has a special Black Friday and Cyber Monday offer for the passengers. That’s right – you can book your flight from the U.S. to any part of the world and enjoy great savings. But the fact that a flight carrier is launching a Black Friday sale isn’t the only unusual thing.
The other detail is that we actually don’t know how much flights will be discounted. The offer will be valid for any flight departing from New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas, which is booked in the period 28th November – 2nd December, 2014. And there are no restrictions on the dates you are planning to travel, which sounds really amazing – you can fly right away, or you can book a summer trip next year and save some cash.
The discount will be available when you enter the promotional code on their website when you are booking your flight. This may be Economy, Business, or First Class flight from the featured cities – it only depends on your preferences and of course, on your budget.
