On occasion of the 43rd UAE National Day, Downtown Dubai hosted a spectacular street parade led by more than 1,000 marching police officers from the Department of Protective Security and Emergency of Dubai Police, the Dubai Police Academy and the mounted police. Fancy Dubai police supercars, cyclists, schoolchildren and various organizations also took part in the two-hour parade down the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
