The 2015 Consumers Electronics Show, which is also known as CES or International CES, is where big and small companies showcase their latest innovations in the field of technoogy. Not all products introduced at CES, however, make it to the mass market. Some a released in limited quantities and others are just prototypes. In most of the cases, it can take months or even years before consumers can purchase any of these gadgets here. Nevertheless, at CES 2015 held between January 6 and 9, a few new gadgets were not only unveiled, but launched as well.

Both devices offer basic features like sleep and heart-rate monitoring and caller ID. However, they also come with some new extras. Fitbit Surge is the company’s very first smartwatch. Therefore, it supports more advanced functions like music control, GPS and notifications for text messages. It comes at the price of $250 and it is already a best-seller on here. Fitbit Charge HR, on the other hand, is the new version of Fitbit Charge. The updated edition of this smart wristband supports continuous heart-rate monitoring for 24 full hours. Consumer interest towards this device is also impressive. As a result, it is already out of stock. However, the retailer promises to restock in a matter of days.

It features a speaker through which you can speak to your fluffy friend, a camera and even a laser. This device will also stream you video live from your pet’s current location. Well, it does not sound much useful, but it has more advanced options than a baby monitor, which do make it somewhat intriguing. The Petcube will be launched on the market very soon.
