The largest online retailer announced it will host a mega sale in the middle of the summer. It is named Prime Day and it is a one-day shopping event on July 15, that will offer more deals than Black Friday. Prime members will be able to shop exclusive deals from electronics, toys, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more. Non-members will have to wait for Black Friday, or at least the weeks before the notorious sale day, to grab great bargains.

If you have not subscribed yet, try Prime here and get immediate access to deals on July 15. But there is a catch! To subscribe to Amazon Prime will cost you $99 in advance, although it will be applicable to your shopping card for one year. So, when you put up together your shopping list, better make sure that the discounts you are looking to avail will at least total the amount of $99. Either you will have to shop for expensive products like electronics and branded fashionable accessories, or you will have to buy items for many people at ones in order to make the discounts work for you.

Amazon Prime offers to subscribers free two day shipping and early access to Gold Box Deals and Daily Deals. If you are frequent online shopper, these benefits should not be overlooked. But here it is important to note that Amazon also offers free shipping on products with price tags above $35, which means that if you buy expensive items, you will benefit from the free shipping anyway. Still, if you are a fashionista or just an everyday savvy shopper, you will benefit from the 30-minute early access to select Lightning Deals on Amazon, and also shop new events on MyHabit.com 30 minutes before other customers can access these designer deals.
