On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day and the 44th UAE National Day, December 2 and 3 have been declared paid holidays for the private sector, according to the Ministry of Labour.
The holiday was announced through a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Labour. The long weekend in early December will be packed with activities for UAE residents from from Wednesday and Thursday.
November 30 is Commemoration Day according to the UAE Official Public Holidays 2015 List, however, the ministry has confirmed that it has been clubbed with National Day for the public and private sectors.
Workers in UAE will go back to work on Sunday, December 6.
