The UAE’s first flash sale will take place at noon on January 1 for a duration of 12 hours across Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls. Participating malls include Mall of the Emirates, City Centres Deira, Mirdif and Me’aisem. The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2016 will kick off on New Year with offers on specially-selected items at attractive discounts of up to 90 per cent off until stocks run out. Discounted items on offer from retailers will include fashion and jewellery, homeware and electronics as well as dining outlets. During the flash sale, visitors shopping at any of the listed malls, will receive tokens to be entered into a draw with the opportunity to win a grand prize of Dh50,000. The lucky winner of the grand prize will be announced on January 1 at midnight at City Centre Mirdif.
The mega sale is expected to attract shoppers keen to benefit from the extensively discounted items on offer from retailers including fashion and jewellery, homeware and electronics as well as dining outlets, according to a statement by Majid Al Futtaim group.
The excitement of the Dubai Shopping Festival flash sale will continue throughout the month of January with an international level of entertainment, performances and surprises soon to be announced as Majid Al Futtaim’s malls in Dubai celebrate over two decades of DSF.
