Both France and Ireland have seen an incredible increase in the number of Emiratis studying in their countries. The positive feedback has led to even more interest in studying in these countries and therefore some of the best universities in France & Ireland will be participating at the UAE Global Education Fair in Dubai next weekend in the Shangri-la Hotel.
France will be the Guest of Honor of the Fair and numerous higher education institutions (business schools, engineering schools, universities and French as a foreign language schools) are glad to join the event in Dubai this year. Most of them will come to UAE for the first time and they are very interested in meeting local students and institutions.
United Arab Emirates and France have a special relationship and French institutions are increasingly choosing UAE as a country to open new campuses (especially since the opening of Sorbonne University and INSEAD business school in Abu Dhabi).
Currently, more than 260,000 international students attend universities and other institutions of higher education in France. French universities and other educational institutions do not distinguish between international students and French students. Both groups face identical admission and tuition requirements; both receive the same degrees. Many of these international students are from the GCC and the strong French delegation coming to the Dubai Global Education Fair is proof of the excellent relationship with the UAE and shows the desire of the French institutions to strengthen their cooperation.
The French Group is led by Campus France (the French national public agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility) who will be there to answer any questions and help students in their administrative procedures (presentation of France, student visa, daily life in France etc. Thanks to the French Embassy in United Arab Emirates, Campus France has a permanent office in Abu Dhabi (located in the French Embassy) to help students from UAE in their path to France
Like France, Ireland is also seen a large increase in the number of Emiratis studying there in recent years. In fact, Ireland boasts over 35,000 international students from over 161 countries. These students can choose from over 5000 internationally recognised qualifications and have access to world-class research opportunities.
Ireland is also the European hub to over 1,000 leading multinational companies! Companies such as Google, HP, Apple, IBM, Facebook, Linked-in, Twitter and Pfizer.
The Irish group of 10 universities is led by Ireland’s national education agency – Education Ireland. Visitors will be able to find out about the wide range of courses they offer as well as how to apply.
For students who are considering France or Ireland as a possible study destination, this is a unique opportunity to compare all the courses, costs and benefits in one location and talk directly with key people from each university. More information: www.globaleducationfairs.net
