The public holiday on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, 1438 Hijri for Federal Ministries and departments will be on Sunday, 2nd October, 2016.
Official duty will resume on Monday, 3rd October, according to a circular issued by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
Private schools in Dubai will remain closed.
