In cooperation with Dubai Sports Council, the organising committee of the XDubai Spartan Race has opened registration for the event that is set to take place in Hatta, Dubai on 10 November 2017. The XDubai Spartan Race is a challenging 70-obstacle course that spreads across 30 kilometres.
Hatta was chosen to host the race due to its diverse terrain which is considered ideal for this type of athletic events. Hosting the event also falls in line with the area’s comprehensive development plan that is set to greatly enhance infrastructure.
Open to teams and individuals of all ages, registration in the XDubai Spartan Race is open online at: www.spartanarabia.com.
The organising committee has allocated more than US$50,000 in prize money for winners competing in the race’s three categories; Spartan Sprint, Spartan Beast, and Spartan Juniors. Spartan Beast (Men) is set to kick off Friday, 10 November 2017 at 07:30 at the Hatta Mountain Bike Trail Centre. Spartan Beast (Women) will start at 07:45 whereas the open category is set to kick off at 08:00. Spartan Sprint is scheduled to start at 09:30 and the Spartan Juniors at 10:00.
