Yogafest Dubai, Middle East’s longest running and largest health and wellness outdoor festival dedicated to yoga, mindfulness and eco living is back this year from the 21st to 23rd of November at the Dubai Internet City Amphitheater with more than 6,000 expected attendees and over 100 sessions of free classes, talks and workshops in five different themed areas.
Dedicated to bringing the community together to support great causes and to raise awareness about how to live a healthy and happy life while supporting children’s charities around the region, Yogafest has contributed around AED 325,000 to different charities that improve the lives of children. Now on its eighth year, the festival is supporting Smile Train and its Yoga for Smiles Campaign.
“Smile Train believes that every single child deserves the opportunity to lead a full and productive life. Since 1999, Smile Train has supported more than 1.5 million life-changing cleft surgeries,” said Afaf Maky, Smile Train Development Manager in MENA. “This year, we are very honored to partner with Yogafest Dubai and help bring the community together for 2 1⁄2 days of health and wellness activities that are all for a good cause,” She added.
Attendees can expect both international and regional highlights like acro yoga classes and performance by Yogaraj, a Guinness Book world record holder from Hong Kong, Calisthenics Flow with Allaoua Gaham and Tracy Harmoush and Yin yoga with Saudi based teacher Ayman Abou Hind.
