Classic and contemporary barbers, CG Barbershop has partnered with kindness exchange, Stop and Help, to offer gentlemen, looking for employment, complimentary cuts. Taking place throughout the month of Ramadan, Dubai Media City-based CG Barbershop has joined forces with Stop and Help to assist families looking for new employment opportunities, following the pandemic, by providing complimentary haircuts, so job seekers can look and feel professional and confident. Stop and Help will be working in conjunction finding suitable interview opportunities for families and assisting them with their CVs.
In an effort to create a stronger, more inspired community during the Covid-19 pandemic, Stop and Help was launched in March 2020 as a kindness exchange for those in the community who needed positive action. Through the year, Stop and Help has evolved to help foster change from the root cause, aiding those, who can, back to work through helpful advice and sharing of opportunities.
CG Barbershop, who has always been very involved in promoting strength within the community, kindly offered complimentary haircuts by its expert team, so those attending job interviews can feel smart and powerful from the inside out.
CG Barbershop’s Co-founder, Carlos Gamal, said: “The past year has been extremely hard on so many and it takes a strong person to get back up following a set-back, which is why we want to offer a helping hand. A haircut can boost confidence, making people feel well turned-out and dapper in a time when they need it most.
CG Barbershop’s Co-founder, Adam Mondher, added: “We have admired the incredible work Stop and Help has done through the year and are so proud to support and we urge others to do the same, in any way they can.”
CG Barbershop has also extended their help to sponsor families through weekly groceries donations during the Holy Month, which will act as a great relief.
Gamal added: “We’re also happy to provide cuts to any sons within the Stop and Help initiative who want to join with their Dads, so the whole family can look as good as they feel.”
