High demand for Apple’s iPad in Dubai

The Apple iPad is generating tremendous buzz amongst Apple fans through the world and UAE is no exception. Alshop, the sole retailers for Apple’s Tablet device has reported to Khaleej Times that all existing stock has been sold out.

Sharif Rizwan, CEO and Managing director of Alshop, said that all the 35 units available have been snapped in no time. He continued that the demand for the device is very high.

The 16GB Apple iPad was sold sold for Dh4500, while the 32GB and the 64GB versions are retailing for Dh5250 and Dh6000 respectively.  Actually, these prices are high in comparison with the prices offered for the same devices on Amazon
