Many countries and cultures celebrate Christmas in different and some times unusual, or traditional ways. That is why Christmas celebrations vary from one place to another. Mexico
This Latin country is known for its tradition “Posadas”. Posadas happens 9 days before Christmas. People reenact the biblical characters of Joseph and Mary and the story with inn. For 8 days the biblical couple is not accepted in the homes of people. On the ninth day they are finally welcomed in an inn. After this tradition, comes the time for the real celebrations. They include lots of food, tequila and , of course, piñatas.
